So many religious fanatics try to claim that having a psychic reading will take you off God's path, however many psychics are actually God fearing people. Part of the reason I think that people are afraid of psychic abilities is because it is the unknown and some people don't like what they can't explain. If you look at the bigger picture though, you will find that you don't have to go against God to be a psychic. If anything it takes a complete belief in the interconnectedness of the world around us to truly explain how one person can see into the life of another. It is the inter weaving of those beings in the world that allows the ability to understand and experience to human soul on a profound level, allowing for psychic abilities to exist.

Psychic readings merely come from the ability of someone to see beyond, the equivalent of a dejavu experience so to speak. Yet those who will talk down about a psychic reading probably should experience a free psychic reading first to fully understand that this is not an act of witchcraft or a black magic illusion it is truly the essence of understanding the human psyche and being able to see someone's destiny. Surely if they were really some dark sided act they would be more accurate than they are. They are not necessarily to serve as a tool that predicts your life, as there are many paths that one can take, but as a way to look beyond and see your potential life of the future.

All is not written on our slate and destiny is truly yours to alter. A person who is psychic is not a product of the devil, but a child of God and psychic abilities are God granted abilities and not a form of witchcraft that is practiced by just a few. A psychic vision is nothing more than a feeling like the one you get in your gut before something bad happens and that is part of your physiology and not something that is created within you.

April, 16, 2009EURO MILLIONS IS MY LATEST PASSION

So my friend Bob calls me on the phone to tell me that he has found some online gambling sites that I just have to check out. I have never been big into gambling, but I figured okay, I will give it a try. So I try out some poker and black jack, but truthfully, they just aren't my thing. Then I find these online lottery sites and I realize that through the internet I can play all different lotteries around the world. Now to me this seems a lot more fun, so I thought I would give it a try. First I tried my luck at euro millions, you know a European lottery. I picked my lottery numbers, and waited and hoped that I would win big. I didn't but when the euro millions results came in, I was extremely surprised to realize that I had actually come very close to the winning numbers. I tried out a few other lotteries, but I felt that I had come so close the first time on the euro millions, that I just had to give it another shot. Now to date, I have not won millions of dollars, but I have won some money, and so I continue to play euro millions and picking lottery numbers, hoping to get my big break. I am one of those people who likes to believe in the possibility of winning it big, cause it is hard to imagine making that kind of money any other way.

As for Bob, he still continues on with his love of online gambling and finds himself at the online casino for at least an hour a day. He too has won some money, but it is up and down and the difference is, when you lose gambling when you lose at the lottery, it doesn't cost you near as much. I think that too is the draw for me to the lottery. The idea of winning big and it only costing me just a few dollars, makes all the difference.

April, 08, 2009Preparing for college in high school

I went to the kind of high school where we spent every waking moment preparing for college and getting into the exact college (or colleges) that you wanted to get into. The one big thing that all teachers stressed was essay writing. We all thought it was crazy too and at the time we definitely didn't see the point or appreciate anything that our teachers did for us at all.

We had an essay writing service downstairs in a big section of the library where there were professionals there to give us tips for the ACT or for our college applications or even for just upcoming tests. Every test we ever had included an essay portion that was similar to the one on the ACT or one we would have on an application for college so that we could prepare ourselves for what to expect. Essay writing became second (even first) nature to all of us.

One class was called Custom Essay writing. In the class we learned how to write a custom research paper or an essay to a general prompt. When you take the ACT or you are filling out college applications (which we spent a lot of time practicing as well) a lot of the people you are competing with to get into that school have the same or a very similar essay prompt or question and you need to be able to set yourself apart from the other students.

This class taught me everything that I ever needed to know about essays and more. When I sat down to take the ACT I basically closed my eyes and the pen just started to write in an organized fashion. It was amazing and I (along with almost all of my peers) was not at all surprised when we got back our ACT packets with perfect essay scores.

So although I dreaded writing all of those essays and papers, it really did pay off. Once I got to college I never had a problem in English class or writing the long papers that were assigned for biology. I know exactly how to prepare an outline and organize my thoughts and it has helped me tremendously and I feel like it will continue to help me throughout my life. I am very thankful for all of the time that I spent (and the teachers spent helping) learning all of this.

March, 29, 2009Playing the sports odds

Okay gang, we all know I am not the sharpest crayon in the box,that is the saying right? I can be witty and all that good stuff but I am not a gambler, that's a given. It is probably a mistake then for me to ever to visit a casino I reckon. But, my sister on the other hand is a genius at that stuff. I was watching Real World when they went to Atlantic City and one of the guys won over a grand while a girl lost $600. My sister told me when she went to Vegas she one like two grand and I nearly died. I ask her why she never shared this information with me before to which she replied, she just didn't want to. I was shocked. Her and her boyfriend are really good at that whole betting and know what the betting odds are for each game. Her boyfriend, the sports guy, put some down some bets on a few games since he knows sport betting so well. He also won a ton of money which I am equally jealous of. He studies sports, players and all that jazz, something I am simply not equip for. He knows what each teams odds are based on all these factors which just zoom right over my head it kind of gives me a headache, in fact I need an aspirin just writing this. Okay, the aspirin are not in the belly and I await it kicking in. He knows all the sports odds and I have no idea how he can know all that. I suppose if you follow sports like he does you kind of just memorize it like second nature. If you were to ask me about Friends, Grey's Anatomy or American Idol, I'd be your own little professional. I am like the rain man of American Idol, not sports or poker or whatever other casino games and betting there is. It seems a little risky to me to do so but it could be cathartic for some people to bet and gamble. I would be smart if I ever do that because let's face it; I am not the richest student out there so I understand that whole budget thing. One day one day I shall venture and place some bets though. I will learn those sports odds first though and practice like crazy! My dog is about to attack the UPS man so I think I should go stop her.

March, 27, 2009playing full tilt poker

This time of year when the weather is changing and we're all dying to get outside and away from the stuffy classrooms it can be difficult for us to stay focused on things that are important. Similarly if you have to work while you are in college then you have even more time spent thinking about the great weather to come and wishing that you could be out there with the blue skies and breezes blowing through the trees. I am definitely one of those people at this point. My current schedule is loaded with economics and math and so I am sitting inside doing calculations with a professor staring down at me and all I want to do is go for a hike every single day. Alas, this is not possible.

Though I do feel this urge to get myself out there it is not to say that I am not voluntarily tied to the educational and digital aspects of my life. I just finished setting up an independent contract for myself for this summer in which I will get credit for spending about two hours a day online playing poker. I know it sounds crazy but that's the beauty of having your own ideas about education. What I will be doing is for my statistics class and it will be a study surrounding the play of online poker. I have always been a big poker fan and thus I have been naturally drawn to number and the study of cost and risk analysis. I have set up an account on a site called full tilt poker. In the full tilt game rooms I will be looking at the game play of opponents and the types of decisions players make based upon my own moves. It is something that has been studied a lot by many very intelligent people in the past, but I am being allowed to do the study in exchange for some basic level class credit. It won't be a hugely professional project at the end but there is a possibility I could use it to do my research in some other class later on so Hopefully it all works out. I'm just excited to be able to sit in the park, play poker, and get credit for it all at the same time.

For our sorority we have to do a certain number of hours for community service and once a year, usually at the beginning we get together and talk about what we want to do to get ideas for yourself and give ideas to the other girls too. It is nice to actually hear what other people are doing so that we can get out there and spread ourselves out and all try something new each semester.

Well I thought that churches had free bingo, or that everyone just played online bingo, but apparently you can pay (and people really do) to go and play bingo and that community center every week. Well these bingo places need volunteers so we decided to team up and go for a few weeks and help out. It actually ended up being really fun. We got to hang out with the older people (and it was always the same people every week) and talk to them and see how they got into bingo in the first place.

The last week though we decided to do something fun for everyone and taught them to play online bingo (most of them hadn't even used a computer before in their life). We had everyone meet on our schools computer lab and we showed them the internet bingo sites and got them started and even had to teach some of them how to use the mouse.

There really did though have a great time playing the bingo online instead of calling out the numbers. I do think though that it was a little frustrating for them at times and I think they are kind of relieved to be back at the community center playing their regular old bingo. I do think it is funny though how one woman pointed out that she liked the online bingo more, but the fact that it didn't involve other people turned her off to it. They all seemed to like interacting with each other in the regular bingo much more than just sitting at the computer and playing by themselves.

By over all it was fun to get to hang out with them and teach them something new. I know even though most of them will never play online bingo again, they really did enjoy spending time with us and learning something new from us too. Maybe next time we go back to bingo to volunteer it'll all be online!

I was never really into playing games on the computer or video games of any kind. Especially when I was younger I couldn't understand their appeal. But now that I am older and I see that technology that is out there and how much people can do using the internet or even when playing a video game, I am starting to find them more and more interesting.

One thing I find especially intriguing are online casinos. Instead of going all the way to Vegas or the nearest casino, you can play absolute poker or online slots in your very own home. I have always been overwhelmed by the internet (well by everything really, I still think the microwave is a big deal) and how much you can do online. It is crazy that with 2 clicks (yes seriously I only have to click twice and type in a password) I can check the balance in my bank account. Or I can email someone and they will get it within seconds. And don't even get me started on instant messaging. I have no idea how instant messaging works and how you can talk to one person online as if it's a phone on programs like Skype.

So my friends are really into online gambling now and have kind of gotten me into it, even though I was a little skeptical at first. First of all it is scary to find an online casino and not knowing where to go if you are a first time player. I was searching websites and I came across UK online casinos which were really interesting actually. Once you find a website though and get into it, it really isn't that hard to get going. It is fun to see all of the things that you can do and all of the bets you can place.

Some things aren't the same though. When you walk into a real casino you see the video slots and all of the machines and the dealers dressed up holding cards and the lights and all of the excitement around you. What you don't get though is the privacy of your own home which a lot of people like when they are gambling or just playing games in general. Online casinos really are a cool thing if you ever get the chance to go on and check it out and see for yourself you should.

Escort agencies are companies that book and dispatch escorts to a customer's house, hotel room, or requested location. Sometimes they even provide the escorts for longer periods of time like for vacations or business trips. I saw a movie one time about a girl who hired a male escort to accompany her to her sister's wedding because she was ashamed to go by herself. While most people hire these adultwork services for sex, some do it for other reasons like a date to save them for embarrassment or even for companionship.

Adult work has become more popular lately I think. Actually I'm not really sure if it has become more popular itself, or if the public in general has come to be more comfortable with talking about topics like adultwork. We're seeing more and more movies about making adult films or with topics about sex or underlying jokes about sexual experiences or terms. If these movies had come out years ago, most likely the general public wouldn't take too kindly to them. I feel like as a culture as a whole we are becoming more accepting of a lot of things. I am sure there are still a lot of people out there who openly judge other peoples lifestyles, but as a whole I feel like people respect other people's lifestyle choices. We now have more people opening coming out into the gay community and the Chicago parade every year that celebrates this. I think just general things that used to be more taboo before, like adultwork and homosexuality, and even things like mental illness are becoming more talked about in the media and even among celebrities.

I think it is important for us to accept people for who they are and the decisions that they make. This is what makes American what it is. Diversity and freedom to say what you think or express yourself sexually. People used to take on these roles and jobs and express themselves and get judged and ridiculed, but now it is more accepting in general.

I'm sure I would not become involved in adultwork of any kind and I am a straight, Caucasian 21 year old female so I'm not sure how much diversity I really add, but I do accept other people for who they are so I think that I am doing my part in being an American.

September, 29, 2008ANABOLIC STEROIDS - FINDING THE PERFECT BALANCE

Some people are not smart enough for steroid use. I don't mean that using steroids is bad, because it isn't. The truth is when steroids are properly managed, they can be an incredible tool in building muscle and also in fat burning which is a huge part of body building. I have used steroids and so have some of my friends. It can be done very effectively by understanding these drugs and managing them to get the best possible effects on your body without having those awful mood swings. I mean for years athletes have been taking steroids, and carefully studying the steroids facts to have a full understanding of what they are taking before they take it is an important part of the process. This can help them find a balance between the different steroids they are taking to avoid negative effects. For instance, when I began taking Clen (Clenbuterol) and Deca (Deca Durabolin) I looked into both of these substances. The first one helps with fat reduction while the second one helps bulk you up. Anyway, when I first went online to buy anabolic steroids, I was advised by a representative of the company that an excellent balance for deca was a steroid called Dostinex which would help keep my testosterone in balance. I asked a few questions and discovered that if your testosterone gets out of balance that is when you start to get those horrible mood swings. Anyway, there is a lot of really good steroid information available out there and even some great sites that will give you a lot of factual information. Just try and steer clear of the sites that are pushing negative ad campaigns about steroids, they really are not as bad as the government would have you believe. Quite honestly, usually the only people who experience problems with their use of anabolic steroids are the high school athletes who are uneducated about what they are doing. For the most part, with how many athletes are out there finding a good balance and taking these drugs, there are very little instances of problems or deaths. The media just likes to focus on the negative about steroids, well actually everything, but that is another blog for another day.

September, 25, 2008Improvements at Home

Being young and a newly wed, I never really anticipated that I wouldn't be regularly having sex, but lately my husband just seems totally uninterested and it is very frustrating. I know that I am at school during the day and he is working nights, so we are just on different schedules and that really isn't helping the situation any. I think that next semester I will try to take some of my classes at night so we can kind of be on the same schedule, but in the mean time, with frustration mounting, I cornered my husband for a serious discussion. When at first I expressed my concerns, he basically said that I was making too much out of it, and that he was just tired and the schedule thing and so forth, but then, as we talked a little bit longer it seemed that he was experiencing some difficulties in getting an erection, and I was concerned. I didn't know what was wrong, but I did know that erectile dysfunction could be caused by something more serious so I told him that he needed to go see a doctor and find out what might be wrong. Well, the good news is that the doctor just feels that the stress and the working over nights is taking it's toll and it is not anything serious unless it continues for a long period of time. The doctor referred him to a psychologist for the depression and to get some medication and also gave him some generic Viagra. Well, it seemed to work fine for the first two weeks thank goodness, but then it just seemed to stop working for him, which the doctor said could just be a result of the combination of the medications together so he gave him some Generic Cialis and that was that. Now returning to being a sexual couple again has been really wonderful and as long as it works I will continue to buy Cialis for him. It is amazing that this one little pill has put our marriage and lives back on track. Thank goodness for modern medicine, it really can work wonders.
